The other day I was sitting in church and I was thinking.

In today’s society, it’s not uncommon to go through several dozen professions in one’s lifetime. It’s expected that we will not maintain the same job from our younger years to our retirement. With our rapidly moving business attitudes that our world is developing…

Then you look at our priests. They have been trained so well that they keep the same profession (if you would call it that) for the rest of their life. They are so dedicated to what they do. It makes one wonder…why? Why are they so dedicated.

Is it a good thing to be so dedicated? With all of our modern researching…could it be that we are better off switching professions so often? Or should we all be as dedicated as our priests? Of course we can’t all be dedicated to the same thing that the priests are, but instead each of us to our own passion.
