66 Hours

Wednesday, June 28th, 2006

After some quick calculations, I’ve estimated that I’ve spent at least 66 hours behind camera, filming things this last month of June. This is just time spent behind camera and such and doesn’t even begin to count the many hours I’ve spent behind the scenes editing and such. I’ve filmed everything ranging from old people playing baseball, to dance recitals, to a wedding, to a confirmation…first communions, confirmation, high school graduation, grade 7 graduation, and city council meetings. I think I touched on most of the things….

Anyways, this last month has been a blast! =P

Wide Angle Lens

Sunday, June 25th, 2006

Just yesterday we got in a 0.7x wide angle lens which I tried out today at a wedding and will again tomorrow at a dance recital – which is what we bought it for because the room is apparantly very short – as in the whole stage wouldn’t fit in the shot. It’s quite an amazing lens, and it looks phenominal! Here’s some samples I took in my room =P

It’s such a great add-on, and it totally looks sexy with it on! Here’s one more comparison showing the difference between the two shots above. It’s pretty self-explanitory.

Happy Birthday to ME

Sunday, June 18th, 2006

My grandparents gave me a birthday card for my 6th of June birthday. Funny thing is my birthday is October 12th!

Haha…. yes, I had to tell them they, and when we checked their calendar, I apparently was born twice.
