Urban "Coffee" and Pirates

As per a usual Thursday, my mother and I left the house just after 7am for the West Coast Express. I spent my morning working on Studio 4, and then Urban Rush. We had a cool band on called “The Town Pants”. I believe I’ve heard of them before, but I can’t remember where exactly. Really cute fiddler on the side, right by my camera. I remember our floor director, Ken, came over to me and was like “You know, last year when we had this band on, Rob and I were fighting over this camera over here because of the fiddler” – and then he went on to tell me “so since I’m the senior here, I’m gonna be taking this camera this time…” Haha…I was like – ugg, wha ? awe…darn… =( But thankfully he was kidding!
After UR, I took the skytrain over to Stadium, and then walked over to the library to meet up with Julia, a girl I know from Squires. She used to be a Squirette over in the Vancouver circle, and she was always really responsible, and I believe she was a convention co-chair when they hosted, and she was just a cool girl I knew from Squires. I randomly bumped into her just over a month ago now at the cathedral downtown, and we’ve been emailing back and forth trying to meet up for “coffee” – although we found out that neither of us are huge fans of coffee! So instead we went to a crape shop and had some delicious crapes! It was a great time, and we chatted straight for two hours until I had to run off for the train home!
I tend to do this more and more recently – and I tell my mom roughly what train I’ll be on – then as I’m sitting there alone by the window, she walks by and I have to get up and run outside quickly to flag her down and sit with me. Unique to today, I bumped into Ange’s dad just off the train, so I drove him home along my way.
I didn’t stay long at home, as I just grabbed a hot dog and ate it in three bites, then I drove Jason and Vanessa out to Silver City to catch the early showing of Pirates of the Caribbean 3. They were showing it at 8pm, but when we got there, the line was pretty huge so we switched to the 8:30 showing, and got to sit at the front of the line to get the best seats! There was a whole group of us: Vanessa, Freddie, Freddie’s Dad, Brian, Ray, Jason, Blito, Airley, Airley’s Friend, and then Mike Sollanych and a few of his friends.
Overall, I really enjoyed the movie, and I’m really stern when it comes to not telling anything about a film so I won’t say anything else. Sometimes I even hate to hear myself if the movie was good or not.
Afterwards, I had to stop at the gas station because my tire has almost gone flat after three days. I’ll be looking into this soon to see if it’s a problem.

I also liked Pirates, though wasn’t expecting the ending to go the way it did..
