Boarded 40km today and hit a max speed of 71 km/h! A good group of just five of us… lots of snow falling on the mountain, and it continues to fall down in the lower mainland today!

Kristy and I canoed up Widgeon Creek today! The weather was cloudy with patches of sun. A high of 4 degrees Celsius… we layered up and were nice and warm! We paddled just over 10km and saw a whole bunch of wildlife up the creek! There were easily over a dozen hawks, a bald eagle, and two sea-creatures we’re not sure if they were otters or seals!

Woke up at 5am and got to the trailhead for 6am where Willi and I set off. Wettest trail conditions we’ve ever seen up there! A good few inches of snow too coming down the back-side.
