Store Wars 2009 at Cypress Mountain

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

On January 23rd, Tim, Mark and I went up Cypress and filmed a terrain park competition. Well, Tim and Mark took photos too, but here’s my highlight reel from the evening.

If you’re interested, I’ve uploaded it to YouTube in High-Definition, so I’d recommend going there ( http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=iFu4hmgJ_eA ) and hitting to watch it in high-def instead of watching it here!

Today was part two of the quest to make my body sore. I’m still working back the muscles for boarding – another time or two and I should be back up to par. I went up with Petrin, Spencer, Ian and the twins, Mark and Chris Collins. We had some good runs, totaling about thirteen for the night, as well as two delicious platers of nachos and several pitchers of beer. Check out the video above for our highlights!

Check out the photos too!

Snow on Cypress

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

Above is a shot of the new lodge up on Cypress.  They just put up this photo on their website, as they just got a nice new snow fall!  They’ve had 9cm of snow for the last several weeks up until the last 24 hours when a fresh 20cm fell!  The season opens when our passes are activated, which is December 15th!
