Editing, Dinner, and Camaro’s
Saturday, May 17th, 2008Paul blogging about cars?? Haha… read on….
Spencer and I worked this morning and afternoon for our eighth day into the Century House project. We hit about 25% on the white board for completion, but the first while is always the hardest and takes the longest.
Greg came by randomly to practice unicycling and such, and Brittany surprised us with a visit a few minutes later! It was awesome! We ended up taking some time to touch up a spot on her car with some paint she picked up at Canadian Tire – it was quite fun!
In the evening, my family went for dinner at Pasto Polos with my grandparents. I had some absolutely amazing food there which I will be dreaming of for a long time! It was seriously amazing….
Afterwards, my dad drove my grandparents home in Burnaby, so Brian and I walked over to the mall randomly while calling some friends to see if they would drive us home. Not much success, until we got through to Greg and we ended up hanging out with him back at his place for a couple hours before he drove us home.
On the way home, we stopped at a place less than a minute outside downtown PoCo where Brian had spotted a sweet car for sale! It’s actually quite amazing, but this thing has a sign for just $1000?? We’re gonna give them a call to find out what’s wrong with it and such, but it’s actually a possibility for Brian and I. Though Brian loves the yellow, and I would paint it black as soon as I could make sure it can drive on the road! We shall see. If I’m not mistaken, it’s a ’78 Camaro Z28.
Nice, eh? Can you imagine……
