Google+ Killed My Website

Tuesday, July 17th, 2012

Ever since I started using Google+ around July of 2011, I haven’t been back to post much on my personal website here. Most of the tools I use here, are done up better, easier, and more social over there.

In the future I will code up something that reads my Google+ updates and pulls them back over to this website, as I value hosting my own content.

Unfortunately for now, I will not be posting much new content to this site. If you wish to follow me and see what I’m up to, just add me to your circles over on Google+.

Google Street View Car

Friday, May 15th, 2009

I was on my way to film an interview this morning, on an on-ramp for the freeway, and I happened to look over to the car beside me and see this:

Google Street View Car

I instantly knew what it was and whipped out my camera to take a shot – but for those of you who have no idea, it’s one of the cars that are taking pictures from that rig to make Google Street View! And for those of you who have no idea what it is –

Google Street View is a feature of Google Maps and Google Earth that provides for many streets in the world 360° horizontal and 290° vertical panoramic views from a row of positions along the street (one in every 10 or 20 meters, or so), from a height of about two meters.

Don’t worry, only geeks are really jealous of my sighting of the Google Car!

Google Chrome – A Perfect Web Browser

Well, maybe perfect is embellishing a little cause it came out in the last hour and I’ve only used it for 5 minutes.  There is oodles I want to say about this on a technical side, but I’ll save it for in person.  Let me put it simply this way – Google built a web browser.

If you consider yourself my freind you will click the link below and install it:
